Springdale, Hiroshi win in Boys 12 Aboitiz Cup

Paref Springdale and Hiroshi FC stunned their respective rivals in the 9th Aboitiz-Cebu Football Association (CebuFA) Cup Boys-12 division yesterday at the Cebu International School football field in Talamban.
Springdale defeated Don Bosco Youth Center (DBYC), 4-1, as Karl Arcenas waxed hot, banging all the goals to lift his team to victory. He made the shots in the 11th, 33rd, 39th and 48thy minutes of the game.
The lone goal for DBYC came from Joseph Mercado in the 29th minute.
On the other hand, Hiroshi cruised to an easy 3-0 victory over Bright Academy in the event sponsored by Aboitiz Group Foundation, Inc. and organized by CebuFA.
Hiroshi leaned on the heorics of Prince Anthony in the 18th minute, Raphael Estremos in the 37th minute and Dan Marnil in the 42nd minute.
The games will resume on Saturday at the San Roque Football field in Mandaue City.
It will feature the matches of Bright Academy versus DBC at 8 a.m. to be followed by the tussle of Springdale against CIS at 9 a.m. The other matches on tap CIC against Hiroshi at 10 a.m. and host San Roque Football Club against DBYC at 11 a.m.
The 9th Aboitiz CebuFA Cup is sanctioned by Philippine Football Federation (PFF).
