TCC-Dancesport eye grandslam anew

- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -
Team Cebu City-Dancesport will go for another grandslam today as the lean but mean Cebu team takes the final showdown in the 2005 DSCPI National Dancesport Championships at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Cebu City Sports Commission's dancesport director Edward Hayco said the team is composed of only 15 couples.

Hayco is expecting gold medals from the team but "not that plenty" because they have been focusing their efforts to the Southeast Asian Games and Cebu Open events.

Southeast Asian Games RP reserve bets Jenevieve Camacho and Rey Richard Obong are spearheading the team's participation as fellow Cebuanos Michael Mendoza and Dearly Gerodias together with their respective partners decided to focus their training for the SEA Games.

Camacho and Obong will compete in the premier latin A along with Olivia Cui and Diosdado Dabasol and Claire Lagaras and Ranel Espinosa.

The standard A category will have Jerswin and Ann Poloyapoy.

Jojie and Jonah del Rosario are also expected to pull some surprises as they compete in the standard event 1, B and C and in the latin special event 1.
