RC-Banilad ends up 3rd in national meet

The Rotary Club of Banilad Metro (RCBM) finished third overall in the 15th National Rotary Metro Sportsfest in Davao City.

The championship trophy went to RCM-Ilo-ilo and RCM-Dadiangas came out second. A total of 42 teams joined the competition.

The tandem of Ricky Ballesteros and Ailyn Soco led the cast of Cebuano winners, grabbing second honors in the dancesport competition.

Allan Astrologo duplicated Ballesteros and Soco's placing in billiards and Jason Genobiagon in the singles event of table tennis and Elmer Mansanadez and Andrew Cavada in lawn tennis.

The combination of Rico Tautho and Albert Moriles were third in the doubles event of table tennis.

RCBM was also third in bowling, basketball and darts.

Kenneth Casquejo sealed RCBM's bid with a fourth place finish in the marathon.
