Smart Tires log 3rd win in PPSA

Smart Tires coasted to a 77-69 win over Collins to win its third assignment in the 40-above category of the Punta Princesa Sports Association basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
Raymund Igao banged in three triples in the first quarter to led Smart Tires to a three-point advantage, 18-15.
Collins then rolled off a 27-14 run behind Baggy Villahermosa, Erwin Codilla and Roland Olmedo to erect as much as 10 points at the half, 42-32, to grab the lead.
But Smart Tires rode on the combined offensive attacks of Panis Geralo and Dong Despi to get back the lead, 60-52, by the end of the third canto, while hot-shot Jenny Tabar unleashed 13 pivotal buckets to help the win.
In the other game, Larimp Network Tech stunned the towering Colonnade Supermarket, 90-68.
Egang Tabalin scattered 20 points to top score for Larimp, while Tasy Vidal added 17 markers as they now hold a 4-2 win-loss card, while Colonnade remained at the second spot with 5-2 card.
