DREAM TV-51 to air Australia 2004

-
In an effort to further bring back the popularity of jai-alai in the country, the Australia 2004 will have a nationwide coverage on television every Monday up to Saturday at 1 am via Dream Sattelite TV-Channel 51.

However, Mario Bitang, the spokesman of organizing group, said the telecast will actually start today, September 23, at 1 am.

Earlier this year, the Australia 2004 has conducted a series of 'duplas' or doubles event in Cebu City at the new Jai-alai Arena in Brgy. Mambaling wherein RP's top pelotaris clashed with world-renowned cancha masters from Spain.

The chief backer of the event is Eusko Basque, which is based in Duranggo, Spain. (EBV)
