USC-NC chalks 2 wins in Milo BEST tourney

The University of San Carlos North Campus (USC-NC) chalked two victories in the 15th MILO BEST Small Basketeers of the Philippines/Passerelle Tournament last Saturday at the Capitol Parish Gym
USC-NC Passerelle squad debuted with a closely fought victory over the University of Cebu, 70-66, while USC-NC A drubbed University of Southern Philippines, 65-44, in the SBP division to complete a USC sweep.
Nico Magat unleashed 14 points to lead USC NC, while Nilton Otida added 13.
USC NC dislodged UC at the leader board in the Passerelle Bracket A to score its first win as UC remained win less in as many games.
In the SBP, Crismar Otero made 12 points to lead USC NC.
USP's Dave Guardiario 19-point production went to naught as he failed to get enough support from his teammates.
USC-NC now sports 1-1 win-loss card to stay behind defending champion USC SC A, which now totes 2-0 win-loss card.
