Pagnanawon managed to hang on, keeping a good fight against veteran racers including his father, Rolando "Boy" Pagnanawon and won the 70-kilometer road race covering the Danao-Lugo-Danao route. The young Pagnanawon outsmarted Villaver in the final stretch of the action at the rubberized oval as Antonio Nebria came out third.
Another Tour campaigner, Jovani Delica settled fourth as Nilo Barbalose ended fifth in the open class.
In class B race, John Rey Jaca claimed the first honors over Marnel Gabato as Niel Duhaylungsod went away with the third place award after outsprinting Jonel Tibay at the finish line. In the class C, Dr. Jonathan Simbajon posted a back-to-back victory. He won the third leg of RECYCLE's RCM Series the other day.
Michael Pantonial settled for second as Roy Carbonera grabbed the third place. Richard Patalinghug and Stelo Gaviola completed the top five class of class C.
