GUV Cup general assembly

The participating teams in the Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup will gather for a general assembly at 10 a.m. today at the Capitol Social Hall.

Cebu Governor Garcia, who recently came from China, will be joining today as she will also be distributing two balls and one net to each team.

The final clustering, game schedules and venues will also be announced.

The opening of the month-long tournament is on September 21 at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

The champion in the provincial meet will pocket a hefty P100,000 and P50,000 is up for second place while the cluster champion and runner-up will get P20,000 and P10,000, respectively.
