Nursing scores grandslam in UV Intrams

The College of Nursing completed a grandslam finish after winning the 2005 University of the Visayas Intramurals with 373 points.
The College of Criminology was a far away second with 162 points, while the Bachelor of Arts department settled for the third place honors with 154 points.
Nursing added six more golds to its medal haul last Saturday through the women's lawn tennis, women's table tennis (singles and doubles), men's and women's volleyball and women's chess.
Meanwhile, the closing ceremonies is set at 1 pm on Thursday at the UV gym.
The final showdown in women's basketball between Criminology and Nursing will be held on same day followed by the dancesports competition.
In the main attraction of the day, Computer Science battle Maritime College in the men's basketball finals.
Win or loss, Maritime will finish fourth overall, while Teacher's College will cop the fifth place trophy with 151 points.
Rounding up the top 11 performers are Engineering and Architecture (129 points), Computer Science (92 points) Pharmacy (40 pts.), College of Arts and Sciences (35 pts.), College of Law (15 pts.) and College of Dentistry (seven points).
