Filipino sports hero Pacquiao to pitch for the Angels tomorrow

From boxing to billiards, from basketball to cockfighting, Filipino ring star Manny Pacquiao may yet find a new sport of interest.
This as Pacquiao is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before game three of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim-Oakland A's series tomorrow at the Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California.
The Oakland A's currently has a one-game lead over the second place Angels in the exciting American League West Division title race.
The former three-division world champion Pacquiao (39-3-2, 30KOs) is currently shaping up for his upcoming fight against Mexican Hector Velasquez (41-10-2, 30KOs) for the WBC International super featherweight title on September 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Also appearing in the HBO-televised "Double Trouble" card promoted by Top Tank is Pacquiao's Mexican tormentor Erik Morales (48-2, 34K)s), who will be fighting with 1996 USA Olympian Zahir Raheem (26-1, 18KOs) in a 12-round bout for the WBC International lightweight crown.
If Pacquiao and Morales both win, they will figure in a grudge rematch early next year.
Morales beat Pacquiao by unanimous decision during their first encounter on March 19, 2005 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
