Rubi-Sanchez tandem rules E-Mall dart

The duo of Jonathan Rubi and Abe Sanchez, Jr. swept all their assignments to rule the men's open doubles event in the E-Mall Darts Challenge last Sunday at the Elizabeth Mall Food Square.

It was a smooth sailing run for Rubi of City Hall Employees Darters Association and Sanchez as they earned a twice-to-beat advantage after topping the elimination round by winning all of its assignments.

In the finals match, Rubi and Sanchez swept the two sets blanking Lorenzo Ramos and businessman William Encorporado, 2-0.

Rubi and Sanchez pocketed P5,000, while Ramos and Encorporado received P3,000.

Willie Abrica and Pablo Ebarola finished third place to win P2,000, while Jonel Candia and Marlon Manayaga landed fourth to win P1,000.
