Surban sizzles in Bali

Niño Surban placed eighth out of 31 elite riders from 15 countries during the 11th Asian Mountainbike Championships over the weekend in Bali, Indonesia.
The 18 year-old Surban, whose trip was bankrolled by Danao City Councilor and long-time mountainbike patron Oscar "Boying" Rodriguez, Jr., was also leading in the junior division, but missed the gold due to flat tire in the last lap.
Vietnam SEA Games gold medallist Eusebio Quiñones finished at 12th place, while Frederick Feleciano wound up 11th.
