Ho seizes masters event crown in CEC Alumni kegfest

Jose Ho, Jr. of Batch 2000 copped the 6th Cebu Eastern College Alumni Bowling Tournament masters event crown the other night at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

Despite a dismal showing in the team event, Ho made his comrades proud by dominating the masters event with 598 pinfalls in the three-game series. He went home P1,500 richer.

Last year's champion Albert Go of Batch 1978-Albert Surplus pocketed the P1,000 second prize with 593 pinfalls.

Ernest Tan of Batch 1974 settled for third with 590 pins followed by Vicenter Yu of Batch 1960 with 575 pins. They got P800 and P500, respectively.

Completing the top 16 finishers were Alfred de la Cerna, Kelly Uy, Kian Hua Tee, Enriqueto Uy, Boy Co, Leo Tecson, Edwin Apawan, King Yapm, Ryan Oliver Go, Wilbert Yu, Rommel Ceniza and Boy Cua.
