CEVA to host FIVB seminar on Aug. 19 at Capitol

Before the Governor's Unity Volleyball Cup fires off, representatives from participating towns will gather for a one-day International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) seminar 9 a.m. on August 19 at the Provincial Capitol Social hall.
Cebu Volleyball Association (CEVA) will spearhead the seminar which will tackle the latest rules and regulations of volleyball as part of the preparation for the inter-municipality tournament to be attended by 54 municipalities and five cities in the province of Cebu.
The GUV Cup, which is set to open sometime in October is giving out a hefty P100,000 for the provincial champion and P50,000 to the runner-up, while the inter-cluster champion goes home with P20,000 purse and P10,000 for the first runner-up.
The seminar will be followed by a press conference together with Governor Gwen F. Garcia at the governor's office at 12 noon.
