D' Clan, composed of Yncierto, Macoy and Cabahug families, trailed by eight points at the end of the third period, but Yncierto, an ex-pro who had played for the Pepsi franchise (now Talk 'N Txt), rained out four triples, while Macoy bombed three triples to put their team on top.
The quickness of the younger Ylaya dribblers was no match by the solid defense of D' Clan as Yncierto and Macoy, who were both former guards of then Cebu Central Colleges (now the University of Cebu) did not allow their younger rivals to do their tricks.
Yncierto played the point guard position, while Macoy was an offguard for the 1983 CAAA champions CCC Executives, now known as the UC Webmasters in the CESAFI. Both are residing in California- Yincierto is in Oxnard and Macoy is in Los Angeles.
