TCC bets see action in Singapore today

Team Cebu City-Dancesport (TCCD) will go international today as the Cebuanos compete in the 2005 IDSF Asian Pacific Dancesport Championships at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore.
Composing the team are juvenile and junior dance athletes Jumil Bacalso and Virgianie Oyao, Kevin Miñoza and Rhoda Mae Fernandez and Inoue Roi Rendon and Christy Kim Velez.
Carrying the cudgels in the senior level are Eleanor Hayco, Victoria Alix, Jonah del Rosario, Jeanen Bergado, Ariadne Velasquez, Crisaldo Rendon, Renante Saldua, Jojie del Rosario, Lowell Bernados and Jimmy Noel.
The young Cebuanos get a chance to showcase their wares in Singapore after being selected by the directors of Dancesport Council of the Philippines (DCP) particularly Marvi Cojuanco Yulo, who is also sponsoring the expenses of the athletes. The young Cebuanos were chosen based on their performances in various national events and shows they competed in.
The couples underwent rigorous training for months under TCCD head coach Loloi Rendon and some volunteer teachers with the special supervision by Philippine trainer Bong Marquez.
Aside from vying for the gold medals, the DTCC representatives will also be on a sales mission for the 1st Cebu IDSF Open Dancesport Championship 2005 to be held on November 28 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino wherein Cebu.
Today's battle in Singapore is organized by the Singapore Dancesport Federation.
