Larimp Network Technology was pushed to the limits before dismantling the undermanned Hankook Tires, 88-70, to stretch its winning streak to seven in the Punta Princessa Basketball Association tournament at the Pablo S. Atillo Sports Complex in Punta Princesa.
Hankook went off to a rousing start coming from the 15-point outburst of Jun Garzo in the opening period to give the team a six point edge, 25-19.
But Larimp's Gilbert Cavite stepped up and gave the team the much-needed firepower to narrow the deficit to slim 2-point lead, 39-37, at the bend.
Larimp controlled the game upon entering the final period as power forward Ringo Balbuena spearheaded the scoring cudgels logging 18 out of his 22-point production.
