Co stands tall in BTA Juniors bowling

Eleven years old Micah Co stood tallest among her older counterparts as she collared the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association Juniors 2nd Quarter Tournament title last Sunday at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

Entering the tournament a 65 handicap, Co from Cebu International Education scorched the lanes by amassing a total of 1,016 pinfalls in five game games.

Co went home with a championship purse of P800.

Michelle Lim, with 20 handicap, landed second place after rolling 1,006 pinfalls and she received P600.

Jonhson Tan, on the other hand, playing with 12 handicap wound up third place with a total of 996 pins while Nikki Tan claimed fourth spot with 980 output as they get P400 and P300, respectively.

Xyrra Cabusas clinched fifth place after toppling 961 pins.

Sacred Heart School Jesuit ace player Jomar Jumapao took sixth place with an output of 949 pinfalls followed by Misha Co with 931 pins, Jennifer Tan with 923 pinfalls, Alexis Sy with 899 and Bless Uy with 898.

On the other hand, last year's champion Jacklyn Lim was dropped to 11th place after knocking off 888 while Germaine Uang finished 12th place with 823 pinfalls.

The tournament was organized by BTA Youth Committee headed by Jericho Jumapao and Elaine Uy.
