HRRAC Sportsfest set June 19

The Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu (HRRAC) Sportsfest comes off the wraps on June 19 at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Cebu City Vice Mayor Mike Rama along with Department of Tourism Regional Director Dawnie Roa, HRRAC president Marco Protacio and sportsfest chairman Xavier Castueras will lead the symbolic ceremony of lighting the urn of friendship.

The biennial event highlights running, discus throw, javelin throw, shot put, swimming, parlor games, basketball, table tennis, darts, badminton, volleyball, tug of war, 3-point shoot-out, obstacle race and hotel sports like bed making contest and waiters relay.

HRRAC Sportsfest 2005 sponsors are Pharmaton, Globelines, Islands Souvenir, Belcris Food, esqr traders, Unilever, Nestle Phils., Nature's Spring and San Miguel Corporation.
