Bianca, naging daring kay Joshua

Kinabahan si Bianca Umali nang makatrabaho sina Julia Barretto at Joshua Garcia para sa pelikulang Always Yours, Never Mine.

Mapapanood na sa mga sinehan simula ngayong Miyerkules ang naturang pelikula mula sa Star Cinema. “I realized the journey of not knowing what is going to happen to you, is something that is now very exciting to me. When you come to that level where both being scared and being excited is at the same level. I think God is pushing you to being something better than who you were yesterday,” makahulugang pahayag sa amin ni Bianca sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

“It’s always the journey that counts more than the destination. It’s the journey that you look forward to because that’s where you grow. That’s where you change. That’s where you become a better person,” dagdag pa ng aktres.

Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na nakagawa ng pelikula ang Kapuso actress sa Star Cinema. Hindi umano nakagalitan si Bianca ng direktor na si Cathy Garcia-Sampana kahit ngayon lamang nagkatrabaho ang dalawa. “I wouldn’t say that she did na nagalit siya sa akin. Pero parang hindi naman po. It was fascinating watching her works. Kasi there are a lot of stories. She’s The Cathy Garcia-Sampana,” natatawang pagbabahagi ng dalaga.

Talagang napahanga si Bianca sa pagiging maga­ling na direktor ni Cathy nang masaksihan kung paano ito magtrabaho. “I think it’s more when she gives her instruction, how she directs. How her magic is just in her flow state. Wala siyang hindi sinasabi. She’s that frank. And that was what’s more amusing to me. Kasi she just says what she feels. She expresses what she wants to express. Like when she gets frustrated na hindi ma-hit ‘yung blocking. Of course, everything is not perfect on set. Kapag hindi ma-hit paulit-ulit, she just shouts ‘Aaahhhh!’ And she just go to the set and tells us, ‘Ganito…’ It was so fascinating to watch her,” nakangiting kwento ni Bianca.

Kapansin-pansin na hindi isinama si Bianca sa official trailer ng pelikula. May bulung-bulungan na gumawa ng bathtub scene ang aktres na kasama si Joshua. “Opo, in fact you’ve thought I wasn’t there. I think it’s best na abangan (kung may bathtub scene). Do’n ko na lang aantayin na mapanood ng mga tao because we really worked hard on every scene,” masayang paglalahad ng Kapuso actress.

Hinding-hindi rin daw makalilimutan ni Bianca ang isang eksenang ginawa naman nila ni Julia. “It’s actually a rare scene between two women. The reason why we’re both excited for women to watch it is because may dalawang klaseng representasyon ka ng babae sa iisang eksena. For two women to confront each other the way we did, is something very empowering. I think what Julia and I enjoyed the most was the process of doing the scene. It wasn’t a long conversation between me and Julia to prepare for the scene. We were brought to the set, Direk Cathy speaking to the both of us, motivating us, how she sees both women going with the conversation and that was it,” paliwanag niya. — Reports from JCC
