International, local groups team up for Cebu mission
CEBU, Philippines — A weeklong medical mission offering free surgical operations for children born with cleft lip and palate is set to be held in Cebu City.
The initiative, organized by the All-Terrain Medical Relief Organization (AMRO), ACE Medical Center Cebu, Operation Restore Hope-USA, and Smile for ME, is set for May 3–8, 2026 at ACE Medical Center – Cebu.
According to organizers, the program is expected to benefit around 100 patients. Screening will be conducted on May 3 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, while the operations will run from May 4 to 8 starting at 8 a.m. daily.
The medical mission highlights the continuing partnership of local and international organizations in providing healthcare support to underserved communities.
Organizers said the project aims to give children with cleft conditions a chance at improved health and quality of life.
