Still&Motion scores breakthrough win
CEBU, Philippines — Still&Motion upended the Amigos, 80-74, to finally barge into the win column of the D’Generals Basketball League Season 3 at the Aulga City Sports gym along Sombria Street in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City.
Cynizar Esconde helped Still&Motion snap its three-game jinx with 19 points, four rebounds, and eight assists to become the Shoe Ice Best Player of the Game.
Feljun Cebes also figured prominently for Still&Motion with 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists while his teammate Marson “Birdman” Plazo was named as S3M Hustle Player of the Game.
On the other hand, Ramon Bistro x Elite downed Chadleon, 65-56, to earn a share of Bracket A lead with Double Shooters on identical 3-0 slates.
Romeo Magno Jr. scattered 15 points, six rebounds and five assists while Earl John Gabunada bagged 11 points with seven rebounds and five assists for Ramon Bistro.
In the other results, Adonis improved to 2-1 after whipping NYCSA, 66-57, while Lawis Ballerhood evened its record at 2-2 after thrashing Elohim, 101-72.
Kert Fedelis led Adonis with 15 points, five rebounds and as many assists followed by Mike Mandal with 10 points, six boards and four dimes.
Kevin Nacman showed the way for Lawis Ballerhood with 27 points, seven rebounds and three assists. He got huge support from Christian Cacayuran with 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. – EBV
