CEBU, Philippines — In its first Quarter General Assembly for 2026, the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Cebu Federation, led by its chapter chief, assessed the gathering as a reflection of unity and a shared commitment.

During the assembly, Chapter President Ricardo “Kuya Nick” Pepito also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the members of the 17th Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their strong support and presence.

In his message, Pepito thanked Board Members Tining Martinez, Lorenz Lagon, Raymond D. Calderon, Mike Villamor, and Vice Governor Glenn Soco for gracing the assembly under his leadership.

He emphasized that their attendance reflected unity and a shared commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and initiatives.

Pepito acknowledged the continued encouragement and cooperation of his fellow provincial officials, noting that their solidarity plays a crucial role in the success of the league’s programs and activities.

“Their presence strengthens not only the organization but also our collective resolve to serve our constituents better,” Pepito conveyed during his remarks.

The event stood as a testament to the officials’ dedication to public service, unity, and progress, further solidifying the partnership between the PCL Cebu Federation and the provincial government in pursuing meaningful initiatives for the people of Cebu.

Cebu Vice Governor Glenn Soco, for his part, underscored the importance of unity and collaboration among local legislators.

“There’s something reassuring about seeing our fellow public servants in one room, leaders from different towns and cities, united by one goal: to serve our people better,” he said.

“It was truly good to see everyone,” Soco said. “Let’s keep the collaboration strong and continue working hand in hand for the progress of Cebu.”

The assembly gathered councilors from across the province, serving as a platform to reinforce collaboration, discuss priorities, and align legislative efforts in support of local governance. (CEBU NEWS)
