Re-elected PCL-Cebu president Pepito expressed gratitude for the support he received from fellow public officials as he seeks to continue his political journey within the league at the provincial level, and maybe at the national level.
Pepito, who has been at the helm of the Cebu PCL federation for years, is widely regarded by his peers as a strong contender for regional leadership, positioning him as one of the voices to watch in the league’s upcoming regional elections this November.
He also revealed to the media that, with the support of PCL chapters in Regions 6, 7, 8, and 9---deemed as the Visayas bloc---he is poised to be nominated for the national leadership of the organization in the March 2026 elections.
In his speech before fellow councilors, government officials, and guests, the re-elected president underscored unity, integrity, and people-centered leadership. “This election is not only a democratic exercise but also a testament to our shared commitment to effective and transparent governance,” he said.
Pepito also reminded fellow public servants of the challenges they face daily — from addressing the needs of their constituents to ensuring inclusive and sustainable development in their communities.
“We continue in public service not because it is easy, not because it is required, but because our people need and deserve more,” he declared. — /RAE (FREEMAN)
