Pam briefed on peace and situation in province
CEBU, Philippines — Cebu Governor-elect Pamela Baricuatro got briefed on Cebu’s peace and order situation during her courtesy visit to the Police Regional Office-7 (PRO-7) the other day.
On hand to welcome Baricuatro was Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) acting provincial director Police Colonel Jovito M. Atanacio, together with the CPPO command group and staff.
Baricuatro also paid a courtesy call to PRO-7 regional director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, accompanied by Atanacio and the CPPO command group.
During the meeting, Atanacio presented the current peace and order situation of the province and reaffirmed the PNP's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for Cebuanos.
Baricuatro said she was deeply grateful for the warm welcome and thanked the police officials for providing her with a truthful picture of the issues facing Cebu Province, including criminality, drugs, and other concerns.
“Because of you, my understanding of the situation in our province has deepened. Under my leadership, you can count on my full support,” said Baricuatro. — (FREEMAN)
