Roble named CPA commissioner

CEBU, Philippines — Jose Emery Roble, president and chief executive officer of the Roble Shipping Company, has been appointed as commissioner of the Cebu Port Authority (CPA).

Roble recently took his oath before Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista. He will represent the shipping operators in the Cebu Port Commission succeeding Regina Barleta.

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. signed Roble’s appointment on December 13, 2024. His term of office was supposed to start on July 1, 2024 yet until June 30, 2025.

Aside from Roble, two other new appointees also took their oath before Bautista. They are Jeck Delos Reyes Conlu as Director I of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and Anthony Emmanuel Gasmen Tulabut as acting member of the Board of Directors of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC).  FPL (CEBU NEWS)
