Two fires hit Tisa,Cebu City; hurt 3
CEBU, Philippines — On Monday morning, two fire incidents occurred in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City leaving over P1.6 million worth of damages and injuring three individuals.
The first alarm was reported at 7:53 a.m. at 1st Naya Village, Tisa involving a residential house.
The fire, which damaged a house, was already put out upon the arrival of the responding firefighters and affected three families and 18 individuals.
It also left P250 worth of damage.
The second alarm was reported at 9:14 a.m. at sitio Caduloy, Tisa involving another residential area.
According to the investigation conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection-7, the flame started at the house owned and occupied by a certain Crisencia Abarquez Seseban.
It was raised to first alarm before it was declared fire out at 9:50 a.m.
Meanwhile, three individuals were injured during the fire incident.
Christian Omambac sustained laceration on both hands while Gwendel Ciriaco sustained laceration on his left leg and Jonathan Jabalde also got laceration on his left shoulder.
In an initial data provided by the BFP-7, the fire damaged nine houses; eight of these were totally destroyed, and one was partially damaged, totaling an estimated damage of P1,650,000.
Additionally, 15 families were affected or a total of 75 individuals. — (FREEMAN)
