Pasko sa Kabarangayan  judging starts tomorrow

CEBU, Philippines —  The Liga ng mga Barangay in Cebu City is staging the Pasko sa Kabarangayan anew to showcase creativity of barangays in Cebu City.

The annual competition is a Christmas decorating contest for barangay hall complex' to be participated by Cebu City barangays.

First prize winner for the contest will take home P60,000, second place with P45,000, and third prize with P30,000.

Preliminary judging for the said contest begins tomorrow, December 12, 2023 until December 19.

Schedules of judges’ visits in the barangays are posted at the LNB Cebu City chapter page over Facebook.

The barangays will be judged according to the relevance of the theme along with its creativity and uniqueness, harmony and neatness, and overall impact.

Aside from that, there will also be a separate contest for the Best in Belen, Best in Parol, and Best in Christmas Tree.

Winners of the special prizes will be receiving P10,000 each.

Along with this, organizers reminded that the LnB parols given during the Pasko sa Kabarangayan launching at SM Seaside “must be incorporated either in the Belen or Christmas Tree”.
