‘Larsian’ reopens
CEBU, Philippines — Larsian is back. But, this time, with another name.
The Cebu provincial government has rebranded the Cebuano's favorite food park located right next to Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City and opened it the other night as "Sugbo Sentro Fuente Osmeña."
Governor Gwendolyn Garcia led the ribbon-cutting to signal the formal opening of the food park, together with provincial board members and Capitol officials.
The food park has 70 stalls offering different kinds of cuisines.
Aside from barbecue, there are also street foods or pungko-pungko, lechon (roasted pig), fruits, pastries, and foreign cuisines like Thai and South Korean foods.
The third food park under the provincial government's Sugbo Negosyo program, the Sugbo Sentro Fuente Osmeña is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.
One Sugbo Sentro food park is at the Cebu I.T. Park. Another one is inside the Capitol compound in Capitol Site, Cebu City. (CEBU NEWS)
