2 cops arrested for adultery
CEBU, Philippines — Two police officers were arrested for alleged adultery after they were caught by the authorities inside a motel in Talibon town in Bohol yesterday.
The arrest stemmed from a report by the policewoman’s husband, also a police officer, who sought assistance from Talibon Police Station saying that his wife checked into an inn in Barangay Poblacion, Talibon past 1 p.m.
Those arrested were a 38-year-old police corporal from Tipolo, Mandaue City and the 28-year-old patrolwoman, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Talibon. Both are assigned to the Police Regional Office (PRO)-7.
"Hubo unya ang babae padulong na magsuot sa iyahang shorts ato nga time pagresponde," said
Police Staff Sergeant Rodel Garcia, investigator at the Talibon Police Station.
According to Garcia, the husband has been suspecting that his wife was having an affair because during her training, he heard stories about her seeing someone else.
Garcia said the husband’s suspicion was confirmed when someone called his wife Monday night.
The two police officers are temporarily detained at the Talibon Police Station. — LPM (FREEMAN)
