Sitoy, Magpale passed most PB resolutions in 1st half of 2015
CEBU, Philippines- Cebu Provincial Board Members Arleigh Sitoy and Miguel Magpale have the most number of resolutions during the first half of 2015.
Based on records of the Office of the Provincial Board Secretary, Sitoy sponsored and co-sponsored 182 resolutions while Magpale had 140 under his name from January to June this year.
The board holds its regular session every Monday.
Meanwhile, Board Members Christopher Baricuatro and Peter Calderon passed 114 and 113 resolutions, respectively. PB members Celestino Martinez III and Gigi Sanchez were also able to sponsor 61 and 60 resolutions, respectively.
For their part, PB members Thadeo Ouano and Sun Shimura crafted 52 and 43 resolutions, respectively, while PB members Jude Thaddeus Sybico and Joven Mondigo were also able to author 38 and 34 resolutions, respectively.
Vice Governor Agnes Magpale, the presiding officer and speaker pro-tempore Julian Daan sponsored 22 and 26 resolutions, respectively.
PB members Yayoy Alcoseba, Alex Binghay and Carmen Meca, for their part, sponsored 29, 19 and 33 resolutions, respectively.
From January to June, the board was able to approve five ordinances authored by Magpale (1), Sybico (1) and Calderon (3). (FREEMAN)
