Ayala to close streets on Dec.3 for evac drill
CEBU, Philippines - Motorists are advised to take alternative routes on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, as portion of Mindanao and Bohol Avenues and Negros Street in Cebu Business Park will be closed from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to give way to the Park Wide Evacuation Drill.
On the same day a safety and emergency preparedness fair will be held at The Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu.
The fair will showcase demonstrations conducted by local government units where participants can learn earthquake or typhoon warnings system, basic first aid, fire fighting and rescue and survival cooking.
The Philippine Red Cross will also hold free services such as free blood screening, blood pressure and blood sugar check.
The Cebu Business Park Emergency Help Lines will also be launched during the fair.
The help lines will serve as the estate wide emergency helpline to Cebu I.T. Park and Cebu Business Park locators, building occupants, mall merchants and shoppers.
The emergency help lines are supported by the Cebu City emergency response units. (FREEMAN)
