Man shot dead in Ermita

CEBU, Philippines -  A 31-year-old construction worker was shot dead by two identified gunmen in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City past midnight yesterday.

Joselito Seseban, 30, suffered gunshot wounds on his head and body that led to his death.

The victim was rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Witnesses identified the assailants as Levi Planas, 19, and Wendell Dominguez, 18, both residents of the area.

Initial investigation showed that the victim was standing by the road when the suspects arrived at the crime scene and shot him. The two fled the area immediately after shooting Seseban.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the motive of the shooting and for the possible arrest of the suspects. (FREEMAN)
