Man sprays insect repellant on woman, robs her
CEBU, Philippines - An 87-year-old woman lost her cash and jewelry to a house helper who reportedly choked and sprayed her with an insect repellant before fleeing, in Barangay Mambaling at past 9 am last Saturday.
Victim Rosario Concepcion was knocked unconscious by suspect Arnel Servano, of Barangay Duljo-Fatima, whom she hired as painter of her house.
According to the victim, she was sleeping in her room when she heard a loud sound coming from the window next to the living room and later found upon checking that the window was already destroyed.
The suspect, already behind her, choked and covered her face with a window curtain then sprayed Concepcion’s face with an insect repellant that left the victim unconscious. The suspect then took the victim’s P18,000 cash and watch worth $1,000 and fled. (FREEMAN)
