Restobar, pension house robbed

CEBU, Philippines - A restobar and a pension house were robbed  on Sunday.

Carted away from Udesis Bar and Restaurant located at Don Bosco, Barangay Apas, Cebu City were the videoke player worth P61,000, liquefied petroleum gas tank worth P1,000, and four mono black chairs worth P400.

The establishment owner, Immanuel Udeh, a Filipino-American, told the police that the robbers gained entry after destroying the lock of the sliding door.

The Montesclaros Pension House located along Pelaez Street, San Antonio, Cebu City was also robbed Sunday morning when Mary Jane Yonco, 35, lost her gadgets inside her room.

She said the robbers used a sharp object in destroying the door knob and took her Asus laptop worth P30,000 and a 21-inch flat screen Samsung TV worth 17,000.

On the same day, a certain Leo Marcelino Aliño, 39, a resident of Barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City was also robbed near the Trans Asia Shipping ticketing office.

Aliño lost his bag containing a 21-karat necklace worth P60,000, a class ring worth P80,000, wedding ring worth P15,000, cash worth P123,000 and some documents to robbers.

The police are still conducting a follow-up operation on the incidents. (FREEMAN)
