Farmer kills brod over spat
CEBU, Philippines - A 30-year-old farmer stabbed his brother to death Wednesday morning in Barangay Taptap, Cebu City.
Ramil Leyson Dakay killed his brother, Rogin, two days after they had a heated argument.
The victim was first rushed to Guba Emergency Hospital but was transferred to Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival.
The suspect reportedly had an argument with his brother last Monday evening.
They were not in good terms until last Wednesday when the victim was invited by a certain Nick Florisa to help him out in the harvest of eggplants.
The suspect followed his brother and stabbed him on the chest using a knife.
Responding policemen, however, arrested the suspect who is now detained at the Cebu City Public Safety Company. (FREEMAN)
