Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes at the Basilica del Sto. Niño

CEBU, Philippines - The novena for the feast of the Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11 is ongoing at the Basilica del Sto. Niño.

On Feb. 10, after the novena mass at 5p.m. is the Pagpakanaog sa Birhen, a tradition started by Don Juan Rivera, grandfather of The Freeman chairman Jose "Dodong" Gullas.

On Feb. 11, the mass at 4p.m. will be followed by a solemn procession.

The celebration of the Feast of the Our Lady of Lourdes is spearheaded by the Cofradia de la Virgen de Lourdes, headed by its president, Nena B. Gullas. (FREEMAN)
