Cebu grad tops PT Licensure Exam
CEBU, Philippines - Another Cebu graduate topped the Physical Therapy Licensure Examination held last August 3 and 4, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday.
Of the 679 examinees, 355 passed the licensure examination where Jann Levic Belleza ranked 5th place with a score of 83.90 percent. She graduated Cum Laude from Velez College.
College of Physical Occupational Therapy Assistant Dean Romel Cabazor, in a phone interview with The Freeman, said he is very proud to a have a student who once again made it to the top ten of the licensure examination.
“We are very proud of her because she is the only non-Luzon top-notcher who made it. She is a consistent honor student and she graduated as cum laude,†Cabazor said.
Other top-notchers were Phoebe Dawn Evangelista and Jerome Delfin Paguyo who both ranked first with 86 percent and are from the University of Santo Tomas (UST); Neil Patrick Gamboa from San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation, Inc., ranked second with 84.95 percent.
Aletha Andaleon from the University of Batangas ranked third with 84.50 percent; Yvonne Marie Alluvida with 84.35 percent, Angelic Ronee Ogalesco with 83.85 percent and Nadine Leslie Carvajal Abuel with 83.00 percent from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila ranking 4th, 6th and 10th respectively.
Together with Belleza, Eileen Diane Caadan from the University Of Santo Tomas also placed fifth. Marwin Pascua with 83.55 percent from Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation ranked 7th; Ken Erbvin Sosa with 83.25 percent and Shane Del Rosario Chug with 83.10 percent both from University Of Santo Tomas, ranked 8th and 9th respectively.
PRC named the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) with 95.24 passing percentage as the only top performing school in the recent board exam based on commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. (FREEMAN)
