Pag-IBIG starts new STL system

CEBU, Philippines - The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or Pag-IBIG Fund Cebu branches have started implementing the new Short-Term Loan (STL) System effective yesterday.

Pag-IBIG Fund Cebu branches announced to all its members in the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental and Siquijor the implementation of the new system, which seeks to provide members with faster and more efficient processing of loan applications.

Under the new system, the member-applicant must be registered online and must have Pag-IBIG membership ID (MID) number prior to availment of loans.

All employers are enjoined to ensure that all their employees have secured their respective MID numbers. If not yet registered, the employee may register online at www.pagibigfund.gov.ph. They may also visit the Pag-IBIG offices for assistance.

Pag-IBIG Fund vice president for the Visayas Victoria dela Peña asked for the members and employers’ cooperation and understanding as the agency is still adjusting to this new system.

The implementation of the system is Pag-IBIG Fund’s way of moving towards new and more efficient system.

Dela Peña assured that they will continuously work in further improving their services for the benefit of their members.
