Davide is new honorary BSP chair
CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III will have a high position at the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP)-Cebu Council which will have its induction of officers of the Cebu Council Executive Board today.
Davide will be inducted as honorary council chairman of BSP-Cebu Council this noon at the Cebu Cultural Center, University of the Philippines, Lahug, Cebu City.
Aside from Davide, who also serves as the guest speaker, the Cebu Council officers under the chairmanship of council chairman Hernando O. Streegan for year 2012-2014 will also be inducted.
Completing the new list of inductees are Atty. Joseph Baduel (first vice chairman), Atty. Amadeo Seno (second vice chairman), Capt. Galdino Varona (treasurer), Oscar Canton (assistant treasurer), and Atty. Manuel Legaspi (auditor).
Honorable Judge Meinrado Paredes, the presiding judge of ITC-Branch 13 will be the inducting officer.
The ceremony will be attended by the provincial board members, local government executives and businessmen, Department of Education (DepEd) schools superintendents whoare the mandated board members of BSP, the boy scouts members in Cebu together with their scout leaders, outfit advisers and council training team.
