Chinese arrested for 'attempted rape'

CEBU, Philippines - A Chinese national was arrested for allegedly trying to rape a masseuse in his apartment on Tres De Abril Street, Barangay Pahina-Central at past 4 a.m. yesterday.

The 33-year-old suspect, Shefhing Fu, from Beijing is now detained at Taboan Police station after he was arrested by the apartment guard who heard the victim’s shout.

The victim (name withheld), a 25-year-old woman of Mandaue City, came to the suspect’s apartment after he requested for home service massage.

But before she could start to massage Fu, he ordered her to take off her clothes.

She initially refused but the suspect allegedly threatened to hurt her.She was forced to obey and the suspect started kissing her and touching her breasts.

The victim shouted and the guard of the apartment heard her.

The guard barged into the room of the suspect and rescued the victim.

The guard turned him over to Taboan Police Station where he is now detained.  (FREEMAN)
