Capitol readies supplemental budget for bonus and other projects
CEBU, Philippines - Employees of the Cebu Provincial Capitol will have to wait for a little while before they can get their bonus that Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia announced during the anniversary celebration last Monday.
Provincial Budget Officer Emme Gingoyon said that they are still preparing a supplemental budget (SB) containing the appropriations for the bonuses and incentives.
Then, Garcia will submit the SB next week to the Provincial Board for approval.
For the collective negotiation agreement (CNA) incentives and performance bonus, the provincial government needs to appropriate P38.6 million, said Gingoyon.
All of the officials and employees will get P15,000 each as CNA incentives.
Employees with satisfactory rating will also get additional P10,000 bonus while those with very satisfactory rating will get P15,000.
Gingoyon explained that aside from the incentives and bonus, there will be other items to be included in the supplemental budget.
Meanwhile, Gingoyon also revealed that the Provincial Government sets aside P3 million every year for the expenses of the founding anniversary.
