TESDA head not keen on politics

CEBU, Philippines - Despite the endorsement from President Benig-no Aquino, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) general director Secretary Joel Villanueva said he is not interested to enter politics.

In a press conference yesterday, Villanueva said that he has been preoccupied with many projects for TESDA that it is hard for him to run for senator.

Besides, he said he is not a top contender for the Senate in the surveys.

According to him, he already made several projects for TESDA that were already approved by the Cabinet.

Villanueva said that even if the president pulls him out from his position, he would still be happy because of what did something for TESDA.

On the other hand, he narrated that running for a political position needs a good decision making.

However, he added that he is very happy with the endorsement from the president.  (FREEMAN)
