Enrile in Cebu for UV lecture

CEBU, Philippines - Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, who sits as presiding officer of the ongoing impeachment trial against Chief Justice Renato Corona, is scheduled to speak about leadership today at the Cebu Country Club in Cebu City.

Enrile is the first speaker of the Leadership Lecture Series, a new program of the University of the Visayas (UV).

First District Rep. Eduardo Gullas, president of UV, said this program will have different speakers of national prominence to give lectures on their experiences in their respected fields.

Other speakers who are set to give leadership lectures in the coming months are Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Mar Roxas, former Cebu Archibishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, Vice President Jejomar Binas, Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, and Senator Manuel Villar.

Gullas said the series of lectures will give the public a chance to know the stories of these leaders. (FREEMAN)
