Pag-IBIG plans repeat of Mobile Service Desk
CEBU, Philippines - After a successful two-day Mobile Service Desk activity in more than 100 private companies employing more than 50,000 employees at the Mactan Export Processing Zone, the Pag–IBIG Fund Cebu North Branch is now planning to hold the same activity for companies with large numbers of employees.
The activity was made with the aim of bringing the services of Pag–IBIG Fund closer to its members.
In a statement furnished to The FREEMAN, Pag-IBIG said that the two–day Mobile Service Desk was very successful as gleaned from the volume of transactions that was generated during each day.
An average of 500–600 members availed of the services that were offered in the activity.
Two of the highlights of the activity were the request for printout of contributions and loan details wherein a total of 309 members requested for printouts of their membership contributions and 112 members requested for their loan balance statements.
The services that were offered included membership verification, printouts of the Employee’s Statement of Accumulated Value (ESAV), conduct of several sessions of Fund orientation or briefing, online membership registration, receiving of applications, printouts of the Statement of loan balance, and housing loan counseling.
This is in line with Pag-IBIG’s mission to uplift the quality of life of its members through savings. (FREEMAN)
