Salesman robbed in Balamban

CEBU, Philippines - A salesman of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas company loses his P36,000 sales to two unidentified robbers in sitio Combado, Barangay Cantuod, Balamban last Saturday afternoon.

Hyper Baritua, 27, of Pitalo, San Fernando, was delivering Petronas LPG in Balamban when two unidentified armed robbers robbed him.

Baritua told Balamban police investigator PO3 Arvie Banate that one of the robbers pointed a caliber .45 at him and forcibly took his sales from his pocket.

After taking the money, the robbers immediately boarded a waiting XRM motorcycle and fled.

Baritua and his driver Jerwin Sayaboc described the robbers to be medium built, 5’5” tall, about 30 years-old and above.

According to the victims, the robbers were wearing full-faced helmets and covered the plate number of their motorcycle with a plate number of a four-wheel vehicle.

“Ang plate number sa motor two letters man gyud na unya ang gitabon kay kana mang plate number sa four-wheel nga tulo ka letra,” the victims told the police.

The police claimed that they have already suspects but are still gathering evidence to support the filing of a case. — (FREEMAN)
