Fotog kills self after being denied sex

CEBU, Philippines - A photographer committed suicide after his live-in partner allegedly refused to have sex with him.

It was the live-in partner herself who found the photographer hanging lifeless from the beam of their rented room in Barangay Bulacao around 7am yesterday. The photographer was 24 years old.

Homicide investigator PO2 Leroy Baguio said the photographer has had several bottles of beer before his live-in partner left their room around 11pm last Monday night.

That night, the photographer reportedly asked his live-in partner to buy him a burger and asked further that they have sex. The woman, however, refused and a heated argument ensued.

In the middle of the argument, the photographer reportedly threatened to commit suicide if his partner would not heed his request. This reportedly fed the woman up and prompted her to sleep in the next room.

When she returned to their room early the next day, the photographer was already hanging lifeless from the beam, a blanket tied around his neck.

Investigators said the room showed no signs of struggle that would indicate foul play. Baguio said the photographer reportedly always threatened to commit suicide when he was drunk.

The victim’s body was brought to Eternal Funeral Homes for postmortem examinations. – (FREEMAN)
