Aside from contusions, the victim also had multiple stab wounds to her back.

The victim said she was inside Gloria Solomon’s house for an appointment when her brother Gerardo allegedly stormed inside and angrily attacked her.

Using a huge pointed stick, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim several times on different parts of her body. The suspect also mauled the victim which resulted to several contusions.

Lopez got irked with his elder sister for allegedly spreading a rumor that his wife is having an affair with another man.

Gerardo allegedly threatened the victim few minutes before the attack happened. Manatad quoted the suspect as saying, “Patyon tika! Nganong nagpakita pa man ka!.”

Neighbors reported the attack to the police.

Cabrera was immediately rushed to Cebu City Medical Center for medical attention. Gerardo, however, surrendered to Punta Princesa Police station.  (FREEMAN)
