Doctor robbed in Liloan town

CEBU, Philippines - A doctor at the Cebu City Medical Center lost his valuables and cash amounting to P22,000 to two robbers in sitio Tabok Lamac, Barangay Yati, Liloan Tuesday evening.

Dr. Lee James Manatad, 33, sought assistance from the police station after the unidentified men poked a gun at him and demanded for his sling bag.

His bag contained two cellular phones worth P21,000, a wallet with two credit cards, identification cards, and a cash worth P1,500.

Manatad was walking home about 9:10 p.m. when the robbers, onboard a dark blue motorcycle without plate number, arrived.

The back rider then pulled out his gun and said: “Ihatag nang imong bag kay kung di pusilon tika.”

After Manatad handed his bag to them, the robbers then sped off towards Barangay Lamac.

The Liloan police are now conducting investigation into the incident.  (FREEMAN)
