CEBU, Philippines - An Information Technology student lost over P100,000 worth of gadgets to three unidentified robbers last Monday evening in Barangay Kamputhaw Cebu City.
Kevin Lomadao, 24, resident of Gonzalez Compound in the said barangay, was already few meters away from home when three unidentified robbers armed with unknown caliber of firearms appeared from nowhere and held him up.
The robbers took his P80,000 worth laptop, an 80GB external hard drive amounting to P20,000 and a Nokia cellphone amounting to P20,000.
The victim had just disembarked from a passenger jeepney and was walking on a dimly lit access road towards their compound when the robbery incident happened.
Lomadao’s mother, Fol, said her son ran towards their house for help after the incident but the robbers were quick to flee from the area on board a waiting motorcycle. The victim was left with no other option but to report the incident to the Theft and Robbery Section hoping that the stolen gadgets will be recovered and the responsible persons will be arrested. — (FREEMAN)
